HER MAIDEN SPEECH.
People noticed Miss Megan Lloyd George talking earnestly to Mr 01l\ei Baldwin, ihc ex-Prime Minister’s Socialist son, l n the lobby of the House of Commons the other night (writes a London correspondent). The next day she turned up wearing rather an attractive red afternoon frock. But that, lam told,_ is not svmbolical of any change of \ie\%. ■She is still a keen follower of her father. In fact, they play a kind of fa mil} follow-my-leader. Miss Megan invariably precedes her father into the House, and follows him as soon as he gets up to go. , Both Mr Oliver Baldwin and .Miss Megan Lloyd George are conscientious in their attendance at the House. The former made Ids maiden speech about ten days ago and created a good impression. As for Miss Lloyd George, ttie House is still awaiting her maiden speech, which, in view of her lathers recoid as a statesman and politician, is a pleasure deferred.
