LUCK IN SHOES.
Should you drop your shoe while carrying it' upstairs, it is a sign that money is coming your way, while if your shoe heel comes off in the street you may lake comfort in the knowledge that you will shortly be taking an unexpected journey. Should the heel come off in the house, you are about to have a caller. Gold slippers are regarded as luck bringers to their wearers, hut to put shoes on a table is to invite bad luck.
