DEFEAT WESTRALIA. INNINGS AND 25 RUNS. PERTH, March 24. The Australian cricketers who are to tour England defeated Western Australia to-day by- an innings and 25 runs. There were only a few spectators to witness the inevitable finish of the match. The weather was very sultry. When slumps were drawn on Saturday the tourists had made 324 runs in their first venture, and Western Australia 167 in their first and 67'for four wickets in their second. Wilberforee (9), and R. Bryant (20), were the not out men. A’Beokelt and Grimmett to-day made short work of the remaining batsmen, and the innings concluded shortly after luncheon for 132. AUSTRALIA.
