RUGBY FOOTBALL.

A PROMINENT FORWARD. R. MCWILLIAMS HERE. The New Zealand and Auckland Rugby representative forward, R. McWilliams, who is going to play for the Frankton Club in the local competitions this season, arrived from Auckland this afternoon. He was met at the station by Messrs W. Udy. chairman of the management committee and Colin Speight, treasurer of the Hamilton Rugby Union and by Messrs T. Tyne (president) and A. Sycrs (secretary) or the Frankton Football Club and welomed to the town. McWilliams was formerly a resident in these parts, being a pupil of the Hamilton West School.
