Speaking from the yacht Electra at Genoa, Marchese Marconi was heard clearly last night by Mr Fisk, manager of the Amalgamated Wireless Company in Australia. In reply to a question, lie said lie hoped to visit Australia next autumn. Arrangements being made for an electrical exhibition in Sydney next week include an experiment, by which through a complicated system, including the use of ttie beam, Marchese Marconi, from his yacht in the Mediterranean, will switch on he lights ,at the inaugural ceremony. The set with which Marchese Alarconi talked from Genoa to Sydney is designed for use on trans-Atlantic ships. It is compact, and can be installed in an ordinary cabin.
