People do not make sufficient use of J a length of rubber hosepipe at the i kitchen sink. It is a grea help not, only in washing up but in keeping the sink surroundings clean as well. A short length of garden hose may be fitted to the cold or hot water tap. as required, by means of one of the self- ■ adjusting clips which lit all _ sizes of j la;.- in general use. If a rase ;s fined j al the other end for washing up the j water comes through this with con- I siderably more force than from the j tap, and so will ensure that the plates i are rinsed thoroughly before being put I in the draining rack. The draining ! hoard may be washed far more elllci- i enlly in Ibis way, and the draining I rack will also benefit with lids treatment. ' Those who shampoo Iheir own hair i 1 at home will find it a great help for ! rinsing purpose's, and on washing day tubs and boiler may bo rinsed mil much more easily.
