BORING FOR ARTESIAN WATER AT PALMERSTON NORTH. —Artesian bore put down in Heretaunga Street to help augment the present Palmerston North water supply, it is now down to a depth of 486 ft. 9in., a six-inch pipe being used, and, as shown in the photograph, a good flow of water has been secured.
