PETER PAN’S LETTER.
TAEAR GIRLS AND BOYS, — What huge fun lots of you had at the Ngaruawahia Regatta! It was a wonderful day for It, and how everyone was enjoying the sunshine! The merry-go-rounds and side-shows were crowded, but the watermelons seemed fewer than in other yearsUsually, watermelons are everywhere, but this year, Peter seemed to miss them. We have heard of such a number of people who forgot to put their clocks back to winter time—at school Peter used to love that extra half-hour in bed, changing from summertime to wintertime. But it is certainly confusing when people forget and find themselves half-an-hour ahead of everyone else! We want to mention specially, the gift Edward Robson sent us for the sick children in the hospital. Edward Is seven years old, and has a dislocated elbow, which necessitates having one arm bandaged, but we had a perfectly lovely scrap book sent to us, very bright and interesting and awfully well made by him. We’re sure it will be very popular, Edward. Good-bye for this week, fetea, ItLv. =
