THE EVENING BAG.

An idea is given here for a novel little evening bag that a young girl would carry. First of all two circular pieces of stiff canvas are cut the size of a small saucer. These arc covered on one side with pale blue satin. Two circles a little larger are then crocheted in silver tinsel thread. These are neatly sewn on around the edge, and after this has been done a few little roses are worked in different shades of pink silk with green leaves right in. the centre. The circles arc then covered on the inner side with blue satin. Stitch the circles together leaving a piece measuring about 7 inches in length at the top. Blue ribbon or a crocheted chain forms the handle.
