THE WAIKATO CLUB. THE AUTUMN MEETING. EXCELLENT NOMINATIONS. FIXTURE FOR APRIL 12 AND -14. The nominations received for the Waikato Racing Club’s Autumn meeting reach the excellent total of 226 for the first day (Saturday, April 12), and 252 for the second day (Monday, April 14), making a grand total of 478. All the., best of the provincial class are entered, while a pleasing feature of the nominations for the coming occasion is the support from stables in the southern provinces. Noteworthy entrants from this direction are Yertigern, Richfield and Count Palatine. There axe 24 nominated for the Storey Memorial Gup, the leading event of the programme, while 31 figure in Te Rapa Handicap, the big mile of the second day. In the President's Handicap, the sprint event of the first day, there are 28, while the Flying Handicap for similar class on the concluding day has 24 engaged.
