Franz Neumayer, a young farmer, who was accused of killing his brother and two cyclists, strangers to him, on August 3, 1929, by stretching a wire across a road, which he connected with an overhead power cable, which was camable (if discharging a current of 20,000 volts into any one passing, was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment for life.
