Only some ten weeks before the Winter Jersey ' Sales commence in North Taranaki. The New Plymouth Club’s female offerings promise lo be of high quality this year. Mr C. H. Weston one of its members, is preparing a very excellent consignment from his farm at the Meeting of the Waters on the Main Road to Wellington. He has not done any C.O.R. testing on a large scale, but has consistently tested each individual in his herd every month through the factory. This has enabled him to cull on a sound basis. The females for sale are by Peggy’s Squire (Holly Bank Squire—Lady Peggy) and their daughters by Treasure's Majesty (Majesty’s Squire—Eileen's Treasure). Lady Peggy who earned that amazing record for consistency—6 consecutive C.O. Records averaging 643.51 b. fat—has endowed tier granddaughters and great-grand-daughters with her fat producing qualities for they are all high testers. Die two sires are giving their offspring quality as well as productivity. Mr Weston's consignment should please the buyers.*
