SECONDARY SCHOOLS. ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. SECTION FINALS DECIDED. The annual tournament of the Waikato Secondary Schools Lawn Tennis Association was concluded on the Hamilton Club’s courts this morning, when five section finals were decided. In these games the leading players of local secondary schools met, and provided some very- fine exhibitions. Great interest was centred around thess matches, for upon them depended the championship titles. The Results. Following are the results of the morning’s play: Senior Girls’ Singles.—P. Scorby (Hamilton High School) beat G. Glevelv (Hamilton Technical High School), 6 —3, 6 —l. Senior Girls Doubles.—P. Sorby and T. King (Hamilton High School) beat E. Robinson and B. Boyes (Hamilton High School), 6—2, 6 —5. Junior Girls Singles.—C. Clevely (Technical High School), heat- P. Woolford (Technical High School), 9 —l. Senior Boys Doubles—Cook and Ellis (Hamilton High School) beat Ward and Livingstone (Technical High School), 6—4, 6—4. Second round. — Sproule and Miss Miller beat McDonald and Miss Taylor, 6—o 6—2; Teague and Miss Whitelaw beat V. R. Johns and Miss Quill 6—2, 6—3; Kalms and Miss Marjorie Macfarlane beat V. C. Rowlands and Miss Potter, 6—l, B—6; Donohoe and Miss Knight beat J. Pickmere and Mrs Napier, 6—2, 6—l. MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. WON BY SPROULE. AUCKLAND, Satm-day. Tlie final in the men's championship singles was won by Sproule, who defeated Donohoe, 6—o, 6—3, 6—3.
