Members of the Nanking police force entered a theatre and ordered the management immediately to stop showing a Biblical motion picture, which they said was nothing hut Christian propaganda, specially manufactured for Chinese consumption, which was highly undesirable and was misleading the Chinese people. This is the second religious picture to be banned in Nanking.

The first Indian to fly to England from India, Mr Chawli, landed near Thetford, Norfolk, on Thursday. lie said he left India on March 3. lie was detained at many places hv fog, rain and wind, and had three forced landings. His flying time was 70 hours. It is recalled that the Aga Khan offered a prize of £SOO for the first Indian to fly between England and India.
