OUTBREAK AT GISBORNE. PLUMBERS’ PREMISES GUTTED. GISBORNE, Friday. A fire this morning partially gutted the premises of Martin and Swain, plumbers. The insurance was £SOO on the buiding and £3OO on the stock. TWO HOUSES DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. 'fwo houses, each of two storeys, were destroyed in the I-iutt Valley this evening. One was a hoarding house containing about 20 rooms, situated in the main street of Lower Hutt. The owner was Mrs Ireland, of Auckland. Later, the brigade was called to a 10-roomed apartment house on the Hutt Road.
