LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather: — Barometer. Friday 30.10 Saturday 29.95 Thermometer. Max. 511 n. Friday 74.00 56.00 Saturday 74-00 54.00 Barometer '2 9.95 with a falling tendency. Indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather to-day with higher temperature. Winns from a northerly direction, probably accompanied by heavy showers. Mean temperature 64 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, southerly prevailing, later backing by east to north and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. Barometer little movement but shortly falling slowly. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER. The following official report. was issued at 4 p-m----yesterd—
