CHINESE OPERATIONS. BIG MOVEMENTS OF TROOPS. United Press Assn—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. (Received March 21, 9.2 i a.m.) SHANGHAI, March 20. The Government at Nanking is preparing lo resist the advance of the allied Northern and North-western armies under General Acn Hsi Shan who announces that 10-morrow will see the commencement of definite troop activities against the Kuominlang. A Taiyuan message slates that the Kuo-Min-Chun army under General Feng Vui-llsiang is concentrating on Choiig- Chow where General Feng is making his headquarters, whilst General Yen proceeds lo Peiping to establish a provisional military Government. The- definite move by General Yen is causing a number of smaller generals to offer their assistance to overthrow General Chiang Kai-Shek. The Nanking Government is particularly quiet regarding its intentions, though considerable troop movements are noticeable.
