Air. A. W. Green, who 'has been on a visit lo Westland, has returned home. Air D. Hebenton, Dominion organiser of the Reform Party, is staying at the Grand Central. Air. J. Lynch, of the head office of the Western Electric Company at Wellington, is in Hamilton. Atr. Frank Ansell, of Wellington, publicity manager for Alctro-Goldwyn-Alaycr Films, is in Hamilton. Colonel J. E. Duigan, D.S-0., X.Z.S.C., left for Rotorua this morning, where lie will inspect ihc Ist Battalion of the N.Z.F.A. Grand Central Hotel guests include Messrs W. Fcnn, G. A. Shaw (Wellington). S. X. Mcßobic, J. Yarrell, A. M. Elliott. At. Alorton, and J. Burdiss (Auckland). Dr. Herbert Cox was elected an honorary life member of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Dental Associaiton at ils annual meeting at Auckland. Colonel G. Fraser, of Auckland, accompanied by .Messrs. N. L. lligginson and F. W. Anderson, of Qkoroirc, have gone on an extended deer stalking lour of the Urewcra Country. Dr. J. E. Borland, F.R.C.0., who lias been appointed examiner for the Trinity College of Music. London, is expected to arrive in Hamilton in July. Air G. A. U. Tapper, formerly chief inspector of Hie Bank of New Zealand, and manager of the Tiniaru branch for many years, arrived from England by Hie Mangitiki. lie has been louring Europe for two years. Air A. E. Snndford, of Fcilding, will arrive in Hamilton next week to fill the position of manager of the local branch of the Union Rank of Australia in succession lo Mr J. E. Page, who will retire.
