LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Rudd, 'manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather:— Barometer. Thursday 30.20 Friday 30.10 Thermometer. Max. Min. Thursday 74.00 52.00 Friday 74.00 56.00 Barometer Is falling and now registers 30.10. Indications are. for partly fair and partly overcast weather to-day with higher temperature followed later by unsettled conditions. Mean temperature 65 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.in. this day: The indications arc for m-oderate winds northerly freshening after about, 16 hours, and backing by west to south. There is a prospect of fair weather with isolated showers. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer rising. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER.
