SERVICES TO CLUB. A lIAPPY FUNCTION. The able and popular president of the Frankton Football Club, Mr T. Tyne, who was unanimously elected for a further term at the annual meeting of Die club last, evening, was the recipient of a large framed photograph of tlie 1929 Frankton senior learn, as a small token of the' esteem in which lie was held by members and as a recognition of bis efforts in Hie interests of Hie club over Hie past season. Air W. Udv, in making the presentation, referred to Mr Tyne’s valuable services over Hie past season. It was fully apparent at all meetings of the management committee that lie was just the man they wanted, and lie hoped that he would continue lo minister to the club’s affairs as ably as lie had in Hie past. Air Tyne, in thanking Air Udy for the many kind things he had said of him.- characterised his position, in his capacity of president, as a most enjoyable" one. He had always endeavoured to be more than an ornament ,md had derived much satisfaction from doing all in his power for I lie furtherance of the club’s interests, lie hoped that during Hie coming season 1,0 would warrant the confidence imposed in him.
