TURMOIL IN A COURT.
MAYOR ARRAIGNED FOR SEDITION. NATIVE WITNESSES INTIMIDATED. Unim<i Assn.—Elec. Tm.—CcpyrlgPL (Received March 20, 11.35 a.m.) CALCUTTA. March 19. Sixty people wore injured in a riot in the District Magistrate’s Court at Rangoon, where Sen Gup ha, the Mayor of Calcutta is undergoing trial on a charge of sedition. 'Die trouble began during a procession outside Hie courthouse. Most of the witnesses are alleged to have been intimidated and declined to say Sen Gupha’s speech was seditious. Four European police-sergeants were among the injured.
