WOMAN ATTACKED.

!N AUCKLAND DOMAIN. HER HANDBAG TAKEN. AUCKLAND, Thursday. When Mrs. Isa McKay, a visitor from Sydney, was walking through the Domain with Mr. E. F. Warren, retired deputy-Pubiic Trustee in Auckland, a man sprang from the hushes which line the Drive, and flung himself with great violence upon Mrs. McKay, who was thrown heavily into a ditch. After a short struggle, in which kfrs. McKay’s clothing was torn, the man snatched her handbag and made off before Mr. Warren could do anything. Mrs. McKay suffered a severely sprained ankle and a bruised knee. The handbag contained her return ticket to Sydney and money amounting to about £2, besides other personal belongings.
