ARRESTS tN THEATRE. The audience in the stalls at His Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket, London, were given an unexpected thrill when a number of Flying Squad officers entered and arrested, three men in evening clothes. Their arrival coincided with the playing of the National Anthem. An exciting few minutes followed. There was much scuffling and some shrieks from women members of the audience as the men were led out of the theatre. Later three men—Joseph King, Franz Oberman, and Lipman Pomoznv —were charged at Vine Street Police Station with attempting to pick pockets at His Majesty’s Theatre.
