CREDITS FOR PRODUCERS. FEDERAL PROPOSITION. United Press Asm.--rr.se. Tel Uonyrig-in. ■MELBOURNE, March 18. The Federal Prime. Minister, Mr J. IT. Scultin, announces that the Commonwealth Bank will make credits available to Savings Banks, Rural Agricultural Ranks, and other institutions advancing money lo farmers and settlers periodically. The amount of such credits have not been disclosed, hut they arc To be used for shortdated advances lo aid cropping or developing primary or a -secondary industry which commands a remunerative market. It is expected that this will enable increased production and absorb the unemployed.
