RUGBY FOOTBALL.
KICK INTO TOUCH RULE. ITS RESUMPTION URGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Wellington Rugby Union has sent in a notice of motion for the New Zc.iiaml Union's annual meeting, that tile kick into touch rule he resumed throughout the Dominion this season, and, failing that, that the Wellington Union he granted permission to play the old rule. MEETINGS OF CLUBS. The cricket season is rapidly drawing to a close and Rushy football will soon be in full swing. Two clubs have already had their meetings and Hie remaining local clubs will meet this week. The Frankton Club will hold its meeting to-night in Glover s Hall, Frankton; Technical Old Boys' supporters and players will gather at the Winter Show Hall to-morrow night; while the members and supporters of the Old Boys' Club will assemble in the Winter Show Hall on Friday evening, ......
