MR WILLIAMS’ CHARGES. CONSIDERED BY FEDERAL CABINET MINISTERS DECLARED BLAMELESS United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. —Copyright. (Received March 10, 11.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, March 19. The Federal Cabinet discussed Mr S. Williams’ charges against the Federal Ministers, Messrs Theodore and Beasley in which the charges above referred to were considered by the Executive of the Labour Party a few days ago when the Ministers concerned refuted them and their explanations were accepted. The endorsement of Mr Williams’ candidature for a seat in the New Soutli Wales Parliament was ordered to be cancelled. Mr Williams has since written to the executive offering to substantiate bis allegations, so the matter probably will be revived at the Labour Party’s conference at Easter. He alleged that miners in New Guinea had been dispossessed in favour of a large company. The Prime Minister, Hon. ,T. If. Scullin subsequently stated that the Ministers are without, blame. The ordinances under which they hail acted were based on Australian mining laws and certain alterations covering New Guinea conditions which were formulated by the late Government and ratified by the present Cabinet,
