TRAGEDY ON A STEAMER.
20 PERSONS PERISH. PETROLEUM CATCHES FIRE. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.—Copyright. VANCOUVER, March 17. A shocking tragedy is reported in a message from Bogota, Colombia. More than 20 of the passengers and many of the crew of a river steamer lost their lives when the petroleum on hoard caught fire. The vessel was in dock at the time at Ladorado, Magdalena River. She was destroyed by the flames.
