RESTRICTIONS ON POISONS.
PROPOSALS IN BRITAIN. United Press Assn. —t.-w t<” —Cnovrfq-ht. LONDON, March‘lS. Murder by poisoning will become more difficult—practically impossible —the recommendations of a departmental committee are carried out. It is proposed to establish a poisons board, on which Government departments and medical and scientific societies will be represented to devise the most strict precautions. One proposal is that only a limited number of chemists should be permitted to sell poisons, the names of the purchasers not only to be recorded in a poison book, but to be verified before a sale of poison is made to them.
