MORE BODIES BENEFIT. LAEST GRANTS MADE. Sixteen grants for trophies valued at a total of £137 have been made by Die trustees of the Herbert Smith Fund during the,week. The following have received grants:—To Rapa, Melville, Otalci, Whangarei and Stratford Schools; Whakalane, To Awamutu and Dargaville District High Schools; Tasman Combined Schools; Taihape St. Patrick's Day Sports Club; Aria Sports Club; Coromandel Regatta and Athletic Club; Auckland St. Particle's Day Celebration Committee; Pukemlro Branch of the Northern Coalmine Workers’ Union; Ohaupo Amateur Swimming Club, and Auckland Public Schools’ Amateur Swimming Association.
