Best ox Is making equal to 34s per 1001 b and prims cow, 30s. Fat Sheep : There has been no change in the fat sheep market, with sufficient coming forward to meet the demand. Store Sheep : Competition has been good for breeding ewes, store lambs and wethers, with good yardings at all the sales. Prices are every bit as good as at the early fairs. Store Cattle : The market for young male cattle is easier, but grown steers are wanted, and on the heel’ sales there is a very small margin for the fattener. Store cows are a good bit easier; the same also applies to the boner class. There is a good inquiry- for choice in calf heifers, and also for good Jersey weaner calves.
