AT FRANKTON YARDS. .BEEf QUOTATIONS EASIER. The demand for beef at the weekly stoolc sale at the Frankton saleyards this afternoon was not as keen as the previous week, and in consequence all prices are easier. There was a large yarding of beef, a medium yarding of sheep, and a large yarding of pigs. Sheep and pig quotations were selling up to the previous week's rates. Tile auctioneers, up to the time of going to press, quote as under: — Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that they yarded a medium yarding of fat cattle, a large yarding of store cattle, a medium yarding of sheep, and a heavy yarding of pigs. The demand for beef was not so keen as last week, and prices were consequently easier. Sheep quotations were up to the previous week’s sale and fat pigs were slightly easier. We quote; Ordinaryfat bullocks to £9 12s 6d; ordinaryfat cows, £8 7s 6d to £8 17s; veaiers, £2 10s to £5 14s; fat ewes, 15s to 15s 7d; fat wethers, 23s to 275; fat lambs to 26s 6d; heavy baconers, £4 7s 6d to £4 13s; light do., £4 Is to £4 ss; medium baconers, £3 10s to £3 17s Gd; heavy porkers, £2 15s to £3 ss; light do., £2 to £2 7s Gd; large stores, 38s; medium, 33s Gd; weaners, 10s Gd to 15s Gd.
