DUE TO A LEAKING PIPE. FIRE FIGHTER’S HARD FIGHT. SYDNEY, March 18. The fire in the Hobson’s Bay’s en-gine-room was due to a leaking oil pipe. Tlie ship’s company and lire brigades had a difficult task in overcoming the fames which were finally quenched with chemicals. The engine-room staff worked all night repairing Ihe damage which was not, serious, but owing Lo the interruption of the lighting services, cargo loading was suspended till this morning.
