MOVE IN AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The movement to establish a School of Fine Arts in Auckland, which is being sponsored by The University College Council in conjunction with bodies interested in the development of arts, was advanced a further stage at the meeting of Ihe University College Council yesterday. it is proposed to erect a building capable of housing the University School of Architecture, the School of Music, and the proposed School of Arts. There will be an auditorium to meet the needs of Hie Amateur Operatic Society, and the Little Theatre Society, besides being suitable lor the large college functions. The expenditure involved has been estimated at from £50,000 to £60,000.
