TREATMENT OF CANCER.
AN ALLEGED CURE. LEAMINGTON MAN’S CLAIM. Mr W. Campbell, of Flat Park, Leamington, claims that he has a recipe for the cure and prevention of cancer. At the Matamata Show, Mr Campbell wailed on the Minister of Health, Hon. A. J. Stallworlhv, and put forward his claims for the recipe. Hr Campbell also handed a copy of the recipe to the Minister with the request that it- lie thoroughly investigated by the department’s experts.
The Minister was interested in Mr Campbell's claims and assured him that the recipe would be tested. Mr Campbell states that 18 months ago he was a sufferer from cancer, and was given up by his doctors as a hopeless case. Just prior to that time he had undergone several operations to his face, and extending right clown the throat. Having discovered Hie alleged remedy, he had immediately applied it to 'himself, with the result that since then there had been no advance of the disease. Mr Campbell stated that an elderly lady in Christchurch, who had had the disease for a number of years, and who had been sent home as incurable, had used his treatment and derived great benefit. Mr Campbell stated also that only three months ago a Cambridge lady suffering with the disease went to Hamilton for treatment, and was then sent on to Auckland. She had one treatment of radium only and then continued with his treatment, with the result that she is now improving in health.
