MAN FOUND DEAD. PINNED BENEATH. LOBBY. AUCKLAND, Monday. Pinned beneath his overturned motor-lorry at the side of the main highway between Warkworih and Wellsford, Mr Louis Ramsbottom, a carrier employed by the Public Works Department, was found dead by two roadmen last evening. The cause of death appeared to be a broken neck. DEATH OF WOMAN. FOUND WITH THROAT CUT. , AUCKLAND, Monday. After being missed from her home for a short period and returning on Friday afternoon, Mrs Martha Bradley, aged 45, was found in her bedroom yesterday morning with a wound in her throat. She was admitted to the Hospital and died an hour and a-half later. Mrs Bradley was the wife of Mr David Bradley of Takapuna. CHILD FATALLY INJURED. AUCKLAND, Monday. Fatal injuries were received by Ronald Frederick McCrae, aged nine years, when a horse he was riding bareback with his father, Mr John McCrae, fell backward on them. Mr McCrae dislocated his hip in the fall, while the boy received injuries from which he died in the hospital. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. AUCKLAND, Saturday. Miss Lily Hendry, aged 18, was admitted to the hospital as the result of injuries received through being knocked down by a car at One Tree 'till. MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED. WANGANUI, Sunday. Fata! injuries were sustained by John Gunlley, aged 2J, a motorcyclist, as the result of a collision with a motor-car near Maxwell on Saturday night. CONTRACTOR KILLED. DUNEDIN, Sunday. A contractor of Edievale, Mr John Land, a single man about 4 3 years of age, was driving a motor-car from Millar's Flat to Beaumont when it ran off tlie road and fell about sOft. into a creek.
