WAIKATO CLUB’S MEETING TO BE HELD ON APRIL 5. NOMINATIONS CLOSE TO-MORROW. The Autumn meeting of the Waikato Trotting Club, which will be held at the Club’s course at Claudelands, Hamilton, on Saturday, April 5, is assured of 'strong support from owners and the attendance of the public will be big. An added attraction on the coming occasion will be the attempt by the dual New Zealand Cup winner, Peter Bingen, to lower the world’s grass track record for one mile. . Nominations for all events at the -meeting will close to-morrow (Tuesday), at 5 p.m., with the secretary ■(Mr T. G. Reynolds), at Hamilton, or Messrs Blomfleld and Co., Auckland. THE GUV BINGEN CASE. CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. The appeal of F. G. Traveller, owner of Guy Bingen, and Boy McEwen, driver, against the 12 months’ disqualification imposed by The Invercargill Trotting Club for alleged inconsistent running, was considered in committee by the board of the New "Zealand Trotting Association.
