LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, manager of the optician business in the estate of the late Mr J. Bremner, supplies the following observations on the weather • Barometer. Monday ....... 30.35 Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 71.00 47.00 Barometer. has a slightly rising tendency and now registers 30-35. Indications are for fair weather to-day and probably to-merrow With seasonable temperature and variable winds. Mean temperature 59 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m- this day: The indications are for northerly moderate winds. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather with mild temperatures. The barometer has a falling tendency but rising slowly after about 16 hours.
