FIRST GAMES IN FINAL ROUND OF SENIOR A. VICTORIES FOR HAMILTON AND HAMILTON EAST. NEW SERIES OF SENIOR B MATCHES COMMENCED. The first games in the third and final round of the Hamilton Cricket Association’s competitions were concluded on Saturday on dry, fast wickets. The games were commenced the previous Saturday week on wet wickets and heavy outfields but the scoring was better on the first day’s play. Old Boys suffered a three-point loss to Hamilton East on the first innings and Hamilton gained a four-pointer over Fnankton In the Senior B competition new series of games were commented, pla, luting only one day. Hamilton East and Old Boys com- ( pleted their game on No. 1 wicket at •_ Seddoii Park, the former gaining verdict on the first innings. Old Boys completed their first innings Saturday week for 112 and when stumps were drawn Hamilton East had a like number on the hoard for the loss of two wickets —R. Skeet 62, and W. JUNIOR MATCHES, TECHNICAL AND CAMBRIDGE HIGH FOUR-POINT WIN TO FORMER. Hamilton Technical High School representatives met the Cambridge High School team on Steele Parle, and defeated the visitors by an innings and 49 runs. Technical High School batted first, and declared when five wickets had fallen for 134 runs. The principal scorers were:-—Brown 29, McKenzie 2G, Grice 14, Evans 12.
