SUDDEN DEATH AT CAMBRIDGE.
A painfully sudden death occurred at Cambridge yesteiday morniug in the person Aird Jao. llally. J lie deceased lady had been indisposed tor a couple of weeks pact, but ventured out ou U'eluesday afternoon to the opening of the croquet season. Since then she Ims been apparently well, aud when Mr Pay/.*, who has been boardiQg at Mrs lliiiy's, loft tne house shortly after uioe o'clock she appeared to be in her ts-ual state of heal.h. However, on Mr IVij/s leturning a few miDutes after 11 ui., he found Mrs 1 f illy lying dead on the lloor of the house. The relatives of the oe_eased were immediately acquainted of the sad occurrence, which has oast quite •i gloom over the community in whose midst the deceased iady has resided so long. Mrs llally was a prominent church worker aud was Highly respected by all who kuew her, and the reference made in the various c iUrchtia last evening to the sudden eud orought tears to the eyes of tuauy of her well-beloved friends. Mr 11 illy predeceased his wife by some two ye.irs, and there was no family. Mrs Hally h.d been receiving medic il attendance, ••nd no doubt a medical ceitifL'ate will be jjivtn as to the cause of death, which was presumably heart trouble, and thus obviate cue necessity for an inquest.
