News from Hawaii states that the Queen has been deposed, and a provisional Government appointed to administer affairs, pending tho negotiation of the terms of union with tho United States. Sax Francisco, January 29. The Queen of Hawaii was proposing to disfranchise foreigners and place the government in the hands of the natives.

The Ministers resigned on the 16th, and Judge Doule was appointed temporary Premier. Honolulu is in the hands of the foreigners. The troops remained quiescent, and the Queen was deposed without loss of life. She has gone into the country. . Three hundred sailors from the American warships havo been landed as a precautionary measure, All the Great Powers with the exception of England have recognised the new Administration.

A commission, headed by Thurston, lias proceeded to Washington -with a petition praying for annexation to tho United States. January 30. The deposed Queen of Hawaii has issued a proclamation that she has yielded to tho superior force of the Americans, but awaits the time to be reinstated, when the truth concerning' the troublo will be divulged, WA3HITOTOX, January 30. In the Senate the majority of the speeches favoured tho annexation of Hawaii or the granting of a protectorate over the groupe. In the House of Representatives the Democrats were averse to the proposal for annexation, though they opposed any other power assuming control.
