HAMILTON AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB.
At tho last meeting of the Hamilton Amateur Swimming Club a resolution was passed, protesting against tho proposal to shift the headquarters of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association from Auckland to Christchurch,
Through tho courtosy of Captain Raid and the mombers of the Hamilton Amateur Dramatic Company, the production of the drama " Old Honesty," which was to have been played on January 30th, has been withdrawn in favour of the concert to be given by tho Hamilton Amateur Swimming Club on that evening. The Secretary of the Hamilton Swimming Club has received instructions to write to Captains Reid and Bruce, of the Hamilton Light Infantry and Te Awamutu Mounted Riles respectively, asking them to kindly alter tho date of the proposed rifle match from January 30th, which is the date of tho Club's carnival, in order that members'maf be able to compete at both events.
