AQUATIC CARNIVAL.

The programmo issued by the Hamilton Swimming Club for their annual Regatta and Swimming Races on January 30th, 1893, is a very attractive ono, and should furnish a good day's sport, It has been arranged to run all tho racos in a parallel lino of viow with tho emhankinont, and spectators will therefore have a plain now from start to finish. Incltidod amongst tho swimming races mo two Championship event*, viz., 100 yards of New Zealand and 220 yards of Waikato, and the Hamilton Handicap, 150 yards (opon) also an open Long Divo. In tho rowing ovonts tliero jiro races for foar-onrod, pair-oared, and singlo scull boats, and also rob ruy canoes. A Sailing Race also appears oil tho programme. The two Maori Canoe Hurdle and Maori Canoe Flat Races form perhaps tlio most attractive portion of the programme and are sura to ba well contested. Foil particulars as to the entries, prizes (which amount to ovof £SO) etc.. may bo seon from the posters which are now published.
