HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
Thk Hamilton Domain Board held its monthly meeting on Tuesday evening. Present: Messrs rarr, Snndes, D, Salmon, Qualtrugh, Jones, Reid, and Tippin, Chairman. —Mr Jones moved that Mr John l'arr be Chairman for the ensuing twolve months.-Seconded by Mr Qualtrough and carried. Lake Kesekve.—Mr C. G.. Knox, lion, tec. of the Hamilton Amateur Swimming Club, wrote asking permission to charge admission to the Lake Reserve on the 30th inst., at the following rates Adults, Is each; children under 14 years, free; horses, Is each.—The application was granted on the usual terms.
Accounts,-Two accounts, amounting tc £l7s, were passed for payment.
Overdue Interest,—Mr Jones iinved that £7O be paid the Hamilton Bmough Council for interest due.—Seconded by Mr Roiil.-Tlie motion whs curried, Improvements at the Lakk.—There was considerable discussion on the question of the works authorised at tho Lake.—The Chairman said that he was opposed to the Board doing this work while it owed over £IOO to the Borough, by whom the money was needed for necessary workß.
