Those whom it was decided to prosecute in connection with the false balance sheet of the Mercantile Bank of Australia have informed the authorities of their whereabouts and will be summoned on the criminal charge. The date of the trial is fixed for tho 11th inst,, but it is probable the prosecution will be delayed until the arrival of Mr Millidgc from London. Loxdok, January 5.
