At a special meeting of the Evicted Tenants' Commission, Mr J. Dillon, M.P., expressed the opinion that the; sole remedy for the trouble was to ap* ! point a Board of Arbitration to settle disputes, and arrange the terms of sale with tenants.
It is reported that Mr Gladstone will explain the provisions of the Home Rule Bill in the House of Commons on February G. In giving evidence before the Evicted Tenants' Commission yesterday, Mr J. Dillon, M.P., stilted that the tolal receipts in aid of the Plan ot Campaign amounted to £233,000.
