■WAIPA V. WAIKATO. The match between the Counties of Waipa and Waikato will be played .on Sydney Square, Hamilton, on Monday, January 2nd, 1893. The following are the teams :— Waipa : F. Bowden, C. Bowden, S. Reid, F, W. Lang.W. Livingstone, \V. Soper, J. C. Hill, W. G. Park. C. J. W. Barton, VV. O. Garland, and A. E, Fielder. Emergencies : J. G. Palairet, W. H. Richdale, P. Delaney and Pilling. Waikato : E. B. Cox, F. W. Browning, A. Kallender, N. I. Hunt, C. Gleeson, B. Houuly, T. Connolly, C. Lovell, J. S. Wilson, VV. Hammond and A, Hall. Emergencies : G, Welsch, O. F. Pilling, P. E. Stevens and J. R. Longbottom. Play will commence at 11 a.m. sharp. Any of the above players who will be unable to attend are requested to inform the hun. sec. of the Waikato Cricket Association, Hamilton, at once.
A meeting of the Waikato Cricket Association will be hold on January 2nd, when the matches for the second round will be fixed,
An invitation has been received from the Auckland Cricket Association, asking a Waikato team to visit Auckland on January 7th. ___^_____
