Tiik ordinary monthly meeting of tlio Waitoa Komi Board took place in tlie Nottingham Castle lintel, Mornnsville, List Sdurday, all tin; members being nresem.—A lettir wis revived from Mr. U. Murphy, re on l lot and road drains near the Waiorongomai bridge, and :i letter from Mr. John McCaw, re nad at Richmond.— The Engineer will attend ti these works.— A letter was received from Mr John Robt McC dl, re striking his name otf the Valuation Roll, as occupier of pait of Ngntnmangu. and substituting that of IJ. Barclay.—Tho Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Barclay to that effect.—Some conversation took place, re the delay that has taken place in getting the contract on Grattan's Koad completer).— The Clerk was instructed to write t'lthi- contrac.or and request him to finish his » ntrict without delay ; and also wiit-ito the Resident Engineer again, ra hiving the railway crossing made. —Ihe Kngineer and members of the Board having inspected most of the roads in the district, m scheme of w' rks was authorized and wdl be gone on with as soon as possible.—The following accounts were passed for pay- ,„,>,,! • —F. l'avitt, £3 15s; A.
