Constable Foreman was communicated with, and the body was identified as that of an old soldier named Lee. Con stable Foreman had the body cut down and removed to deceased's residence to await an inquest. News has been receive ! by the Collector of Customs that the cutter Sirah went ashore at the Chickens on Wednesday last She was floated off. but soon became water logged and the crew left her floating on her beam ends between the H°n and Chickens. The owners, Messrs Henderson and Spraggon also received a telegram from Oapt, Ale Lend which substantiates that received by the Customs.
