THE PANAMA CANAL.
(BY ELECTRIC TELKfi RAI'II. —COPYRIOIIT). Paris. December 7. M. Ribot, ha? decided that the Panama Canal Inquiry Committee must not encroach on judiciary powers. December S. M. Ribot the new Premier, has authorised the autopsy of the remains of the late Baron Reiuach. It is reported that M. Bourgeos, the new Minister for Justice, has issued instructions to arrest the directors of the Panama Canal Company. The new Premier's programme is colourless, but ho professes a resolute desire to throw light on the Panama Company's scandils.
