HUNTLY.
Rowing Club.—There was nothing done at the adjourned inaeting on Saturday last, of those interested in forming a rowing club here beyond arranging with the secretary to call a meeting of members when they numbered 30.
Cricket Club.—A general meeting of members of the South End Cricket Club was held in the school on Tuesday evening, about two-thirls of the members being ■ present. The proceedings at the preliminary meeting and election of officers were confirmed. Mr J. H. Graham, J.P., was elected President, and Mr J. Ord and Mr A. Taylor vice-Presidents. A committee was appointed to act on behalf of the club, and they were instructed to draw up a set of rules to be submitted afc a future meeting. The club has already a membership of 25 and seems in a flourishing condition.
